FAITH MUST OUTWEIGH THE PRICE

Our faith must be bigger than the price tag.  I understand the economical impact that COVID-19 is having upon America.  Some large business execs want to hurry the pace to bring back society to the way it was just a short while ago.  This of course Is foolish talk as even when the spread ceases people will not forget the pandemic. The handshake may become a thing of the past.  That might not be a bad idea with the world population far exceeding the earth’s natural capacity.  Viruses will become more sophisticated over time.  There is however an answer to this if we allow our faith to be bigger than the price tag.

Our technology is increasing at an ever-rapid rate.  When our quantum computers combined with artificial intelligence advances to a level in which we can create not only vaccines but cures in days rather than years the worry of dying young will vanish, but world population may still be a problem.  One might feel that cities in the seas, creating cities in places with less population density is an answer. America and the rest of the world must become very serious about colonizing space.  The moon and Mars will be humanities next homes.  Rather than having countries we will have self-governing planets with an alliance for the advancement of humanity into the further most reaches of space.

Nothing Is Possible When We Lack Faith

None of the above is possible when we lack faith. Humans gravitate to the negative.  What is this negative I speak of?  The love of money, in creates a plethora of evils in our society.  We do not have the faith to resist the temptations and succumb to our love of money protecting what is known as a “good” economy regardless of the human destruction in which it causes.  There are real people today including President Trump who believe we must get back to work now.  Why?  To get the economy moving again.  Some have said that we should even go so far as to sacrifice our lives for the love of money.  The sad truth many of these people are within so called “faith” communities.

Humanity Needs a Reset

Humanity needs a reset and COVID-19 might just be that reset which humanity needs, right now.  To admit our love of money and to then become free from the fear of lack which is holding us back.  When we worry about things, those things tend to happen in our lives, and this is magnified when billions of people are putting negativity into the world.  We get off on the negativity, we embrace it even when it hurts us.  We feel comfortable in which we give up control. Like having an abusive partner we keep going back from a false sense of control over our lives.

It is time to do some deep soul searching.  To look into the dim mirror of our souls, brave enough to be honest with ourselves and the dark human nature.  Start taking steps by writing down our fears.  “I can’t afford the rent, groceries, healthcare, etc.”  Admit that this scares you, then start to tell yourself you can afford, you can do, you are not fearful!  Embrace the evil negative thought patterns placing themunder your control. We will get though these strange times, it is what we do afterwards which will determine our future for either good or evil.  We can go back to business as usual as slaves or we can create a world of universal Contributionism in which all people share in the richness of all the resources that are available to us.  Along with the material benefits we will receive the most important benefit, peace of mind.

Dying Without Hope

Do not look at anything outside of yourself to know yourself.

We are all looking for a sense of meaning the motivations which drive us through life.  Living lives unhindered by ego.  With purpose is realized we are carried away, the Universe moving us forward.  The dying man is lost without hope.  He has never truly seen himself; this shame, this calamity impacts billions of earth’s citizens.  You say, “I do not want to die suffering from a life never lived.”

Where do I start?  Start with you.  Do not look at anything outside of yourself to know yourself.  The master said “The Kingdom of heaven is within.”  There is no great sage that has ever spoken of the attainment of self-knowledge from outside sources.  There is great value in objective learning; it is the foundation.  It is what you do with the raw knowledge; our goal being transmutation into gold, the high goal of alchemy. You can read every self-help book available and all you are going to do is take up space without real seeking.

Attainment Is Not Easy

Attainment of your purpose is not easy, you may have some idea.  As you step closer towards self-knowledge the mirror hiding your true self becomes clearer.  Often people start with a practice of meditation combined with yogic breathing techniques helping the subconscious become more open to the conscious.  Ritual exercises help stimulate faith in the work as doubt will be your greatest enemy.  Keeping a journal of your daily activities will help you stay disciplined in your work. This will give you a record of your progress building your faith in the work. Be brave enough to realize the unhindered dream of your childhood.  It is all a matter of faith.

Do not worry about profession; it is about who you are.  Being able to accept yourself as a divine being; your job is something you do to eat.  Faith is the key.  Without faith you will never move mountains.  You will never find your true self.  Build your faith with the practices mentioned above.  You will slowly step out unto the water and not sink.  You will be content with full acceptance of your divine nature.  Nothing will be impossible for you as your will is the same as the universe.  Now you know who you are.

Is Religion Worth It?

With such atrocity and division caused by religion we must ask; is religion worth it?

Is religion worth it?  There is nothing on earth that is used more to manipulate the populace than religion.  Religion inspires people to commit the best and worst of actions.  Religion has spearheaded some of the bloodiest wars and terrorist attacks.  The labels in which we put on people in differing countries are often based on the majority religion.  It is a Christian, Muslim or Buddhist country.  Within the differing religions is even greater division especially within the Christian faith.  With such atrocity and division caused by religion we must ask; is religion worth it?

Religion Defines Our Purpose.

People throughout history have also used religions to define their purpose.  Trapped on this planet in the middle of space, early man developed religion as a panacea of sorts to explain why we are here.  If God or Gods have contacted humanity it was still mankind who developed the system of worship around the Gods.  Within Christianity, the Biblical text spells out how the religion was formed.  Jesus did not form the church.  Jesus did tell his followers to go about and spread the good news.  However, this good news of love and peace has become a heavy burden to the majority of Christianity.

Religion is not Complex Enough for Humanity.

Is religion worth it?  No, I would say it is not.  It is within human nature to seek for the divine, but to formulate religions on dogmas and doctrines in which we think we know the will of God has caused nothing but harm.  To have faith in God and a spiritual practice is not the same as an organized religion. Spirituality is following ones will.  Ones will is their purpose and we are all spiritual.  One’s path is not the same as another as each path is as unique as a fingerprint.  To develop a system focusing on the human and his or her purpose in life is leaving humans wanting as no system is great enough to handle the unique nature of man.

Do Not Give Up on Your Faith.

If you agree but still love your faith good.  I would never want someone to disown their faith, rather I would say let us build upon our spiritual nature within the framework of our faith, adding modifications when needed.  Live by love, do no harm, seek peace and care for one another.  Know that everyone is different and that is ok, that is how God made them.  Understand that variety is the spice of life and you do not know the answers.  Love, and be love, that is the only way.

Ignorance, Politics and Evangelicals

Fears of God’s wrath and judgment have been the name of the church game gaining them billions of dollars over the centuries.

Strange times; Ignorance, politics and Evangelicals.  Historians will look back on current state of affairs as one of the most divisive times in church history since reformation.  Times not seen since the Civil War.  At a time when church should be healing the nation the church is aggravating the problem.  Evangelicals have taken sides with an unwavering support for Trump.

It may be wise to look at the foundations for this mess.  Christian education or lack thereof within the Evangelical community is part of the problem.  Pastors are given a congregation with little to no advanced theological training often attending institutes in which denominational doctrines and dogma are indoctrinated devoid of free thought.  I am not saying that every pastor needs an M.Div.  Some level of graduate education from a non-institute is necessary.

Evangelicals have this idea that Romans 13 applies to our presidents. The idea that the Bible is inerrant has created a disaster.  Presidents are elected based on the sovereign vote of the people. Presidents are just the lingering effects monarchies.

Fear, The Name of the Church Game

Fears of God’s wrath and judgment have been the name of the church game gaining them billions of dollars over the centuries.   This does not have to be this way.  The Evangelical Deep State is usurping power taking back the good news of Christ to a nation in ignorance. Christianity Today is doing their part. We seek to bring the light of God to all people, no exceptions.  Why?  Everybody wants to be right.

What is right?  What is good or bad theology?  I do not know, I do not have a definite stance, nor will I ever because most questions are unknown.  Pastors take positions and adhere to them, forcing them on their congregation.  Could a pastor at the end of a sermon tell their people that they could be wrong?  I would; however the pastorate has eluded me.  If I do find myself leading a congregation, there will always be an asterisk stating I could be wrong.

Finally what can we do to come together?  Well if I knew exactly how to do that this message would gain more traction.  However I do believe that I am on to something.  Our country needs to come together in love and harmony.  I do not have a problem with differing beliefs in fact I welcome them.  I do have a problem when these beliefs have divided a nation in such a way not seen since the mid 1850’s.
