It is time we confess as Christians that our foundations of American Christianity have been rooted in racism, manipulation and greed.
It is time we confess as Christians that our foundations of American Christianity has been rooted in racism, manipulation and greed. However the roots of evil have stemmed for much longer; 2000 years longer. Christianity as known by the Apostles died shortly after them with the establishment of the hierarchy of church offices. All are one body, the bishop is equal to the layman both changing roles as needed.
Permanent hierarchy leads to unchanged doctrines and dogma which do not advance with society. The power of the Church leads to greed and manipulation of the State. All this is evil. We must admit and ask for forgiveness for being apart of the actions we committed; even if done in ignorance. We must deconstruct and build based on love and the priesthood of all saints. We must repent for the countless lives lost, and untold wealth stolen away.
What is Done in the Dark Will be Seen in the Light
What is done in the dark will be seen in the light. The Church has openly conducted evil actions for all to see. However, if no one can see the actions, they remain in the dark. Now, now, is the time in which the scales are falling from the eyes. We stand naked in the garden without knowledge of our fate. We fear because we do not live by faith. Love is not found only the actions of the flesh.
We have worn the clothes of the profane for far too long, creating an institution of bondage rather than bringers of light. We celebrate the ressurection without understanding its purpose. We, as the Master spoke, have failed to see the logs in our eyes. It is time to repent for the actions done in the name of Christ.
Will You Repent With Me?
Will you repent with me? Will you say, I was wrong and love is right? Or, will you continue to deny your actions all the way to the throne of God? When that time comes you will realize heaven is meant to be on earth. Heaven is within the heart of the individual. When light comes no darkness is found. Here me now. Christianity is dead as we know it. We must correct what has been perverted and rebuild under the freedom of forgiveness.
Are most people sitting in the pews every Sunday giving away their cash and singing a few songs really Christians?
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40 NIV
Christians and most Americans have these words seared into their conscious. Generally one thinks of the corner stone of Christianity as Jesus, the cross and love. Unfortunately in between Jesus and love comes dogma and doctrine. Often social justice minded Christians are more concerned for the love of neighbor than “church” involvement. These Christians are critiqued by “conservative” Christians who are involved with organized church, believing it is their outer expression of love of God. Likewise these are critiqued by the social justice minded Christians for their lack of community involvement. Why is there a split in the first place? I am sure there are Christians who are knees deep in carrying out both parts of the greatest commandment. Two questions I would like to propose. Are these commands synonymous? If they are synonymous, are those who are partial to social justice issues the only Christians?
How Do I Love God?
Let’s look at the text. Jesus is famous for hyperbole and parables, it would not be against the norm for him to repeat the same command in different means.
How does one love God? It seems we have created this idea that we must attend an organized church, read the bible and listen to Christian radio. Maybe staying away from porn, beer and pot making sure to live up to the law and moral codes set in place by their denomination. This sounds rather an odd way to love God. Oh, I know, it is giving 10 percent of your money to the church. Not really, the church, but a staff of paid members of the church. The ones responsible for the building, teaching, reading, music and other production work. I still do not understand how this is how one loves God.
Jesus says the same thing in order to make it much clearer to the reader. “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Not an easy task for sure. It is much easier to create dogma and doctrine in order to feel we have satisfied the requirements. The majority feeling that the dogma and doctrine outweigh love of neighbor not realizing that is all Jesus meant. All Jesus meant as the greatest commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself.
How does that make sense? Simple, you are god. While not fully God, you are a piece of God. God would not be God without you. You are god, humanity as a whole is God. This is understood in many religions but generally rejected by the faith which worships the messenger. It would stand to reason that the majority of professing Christians are not Christians at all. They have created some strange doctrine and attached Jesus to the front cover.
Read the first four gospels. Jesus is constantly preaching plainly or through parable, good works towards mankind. Christians and non-Christians who take care of each other, fight for one another and give to one another. Those people, these gods, who love themselves by loving others. When others are themselves and themselves others, this knowledge is at the heart of the message of Jesus. Jesus was radical in his approach speaking the truth leading to his death. Are most people sitting in the pews every Sunday giving away their cash and singing a few songs really Christians?
‘By their fruit you will recognize them.” Matthew 7:16 NIV
Where am I? How did I get here? I am approaching 40 years on this earth and I am trying to figure out what the hell is going on. I am sure many people feel the same. Over the years I have observed many strange behaviors on this planet; wondering why people do what they do. Whatever the purpose was for my existence I find myself more eager for the mother ship. Now I know that this sounds like talk from someone mentally ill or disturbed. Is it? Have you looked around and contemplated this perceived reality and just said; what the fuck?
Everything Humans teach is a Lie
Everything humans teach is a lie. Their history, religions, monetary systems, politics, their beliefs on food, drugs and spirituality, all of it seems to be self-serving. Humans are born with an ego in which drives their sufferings; with meat sack bodies that decay over time. They do this thing called work which is centered on competition tearing each other apart. They are trapped on a rock flying around a fiery inferno at thousands of miles per hour. I would think they would work to make their lives better. Instead they behave in a manner of less intelligent animals which they coexist with. I should not be so surprised man seems to function little better than ravenous wolves.
Humanity lives in a dog eat dog world. They trick themselves to believe they must work 40 hours or more every week keep subservient to employers who don’t give a flying fuck. They replace each other with someone more productive when one falls short. God forbid a person is depressed, going through a family crisis or just having some bad days. It is no wonder half of them are on Prozac, alcohol and other pain reliving drugs. I do not blame them for their self-destructive attitudes. Since I have been here I have been forced into their regiment often relying on their methods of coping.
I do not understand why they do not move at a slower pace? Why don’t they spend the first half hour of their work day in meditation? Most of them only receive a half hour unpaid lunch in which they scarf down food; it is no wonder they have intestinal problems. They are also not compensated when their bodies start to fail. This is what they call retirement. They spend their days when their bodies are healthy doing stupid shit they do not want to do, then spend their final years with broken bodies trying to do what they always wanted.
Humans Find A Strange Peace In Religion.
Humans find a strange peace in religion. They have hundreds of them. These philosophies of peace however are the cause of most of their wars. Again, I ask, where the fuck am I and how can I get home? None of this seems to make sense. This is not the way I want to live; I do not want to spend my days doing dumb shit, being subjected to stress, the pain of this body and a society which is animalistic in their self-seeking. Who want to get up day after fucking day to do it again and again until you die or retire? If I am lucky I will receive 10 years on a fixed budget before this body fails.
I know I have been negative. Why shouldn’t I? Life is suffering they say. It is bad enough they are born grow to about 30 or less then start falling apart. If the biology is not suffering enough, they pour suffering upon one another. Ok, ok, enough of the negativity. I do not have all the answers; I am new to this world.
Maybe They Should Seek Within Themselves.
Maybe they should seek within themselves? Develop a path in which they convert ego into Spirit. They have had many great sages which transcended the traditional human. One of these was Jesus. Jesus had many great examples found in the gospel text. This, before so called doctors of the church interpreted the teachings to be more in line with the wicked world. Jesus said the kingdom is within. Jesus and other great teachers taught to live a life of meditation, prayer, giving and receiving with gratefulness. They taught love, to seek the interest of others not themselves. These teachings from great spiritual leaders are opposite to this current world.
The human should live to serve one another instead of stealing from each other. In their Christian tradition they are taught to love one another. Loving one another would mean developing constructive work that is meaningful. If they would stop competing for money; rather compete for the greater good of all people. Accepting each other for who we they are, regardless of their views; all humanity working together for each other. It is time they get the priorities of the human race straight; returning to the spirituality in which they come. If this is done, I would not mind living on this rock for a little while longer.
Fears of God’s wrath and judgment have been the name of the church game gaining them billions of dollars over the centuries.
Strange times; Ignorance, politics and Evangelicals. Historians will look back on current state of affairs as one of the most divisive times in church history since reformation. Times not seen since the Civil War. At a time when church should be healing the nation the church is aggravating the problem. Evangelicals have taken sides with an unwavering support for Trump.
It may be wise to look at the foundations for this mess. Christian education or lack thereof within the Evangelical community is part of the problem. Pastors are given a congregation with little to no advanced theological training often attending institutes in which denominational doctrines and dogma are indoctrinated devoid of free thought. I am not saying that every pastor needs an M.Div. Some level of graduate education from a non-institute is necessary.
Evangelicals have this idea that Romans 13 applies to our presidents. The idea that the Bible is inerrant has created a disaster. Presidents are elected based on the sovereign vote of the people. Presidents are just the lingering effects monarchies.
Fear, The Name of the Church Game
Fears of God’s wrath and judgment have been the name of the church game gaining them billions of dollars over the centuries. This does not have to be this way. The Evangelical Deep State is usurping power taking back the good news of Christ to a nation in ignorance. Christianity Today is doing their part. We seek to bring the light of God to all people, no exceptions. Why? Everybody wants to be right.
What is right? What is good or bad theology? I do not know, I do not have a definite stance, nor will I ever because most questions are unknown. Pastors take positions and adhere to them, forcing them on their congregation. Could a pastor at the end of a sermon tell their people that they could be wrong? I would; however the pastorate has eluded me. If I do find myself leading a congregation, there will always be an asterisk stating I could be wrong.
Finally what can we do to come together? Well if I knew exactly how to do that this message would gain more traction. However I do believe that I am on to something. Our country needs to come together in love and harmony. I do not have a problem with differing beliefs in fact I welcome them. I do have a problem when these beliefs have divided a nation in such a way not seen since the mid 1850’s.
We put on a costume every day and act out a role. I do not care if you work at McDonald’s or you are a medical doctor, it is a role you play.
We have all heard phrase “I do not know what I want to be when I grow up.” I am sure you also have said this on more than one occasion. I know up until recently I have. I have also heard people as old as 60+ still trying to figure out what they want to be. It is interesting that we as a society put so much emphasis on what we are going to be, generally referring to an occupation. Our occupations seem to define yet we are never happy. We put on a costume every day and act out a role. I do not care if you work at McDonald’s or you are a medical doctor, it is a role you play.
If you are lucky enough to achieve the “dream job” you have always wanted, you probably will not be 100% satisfied. You may still not know if this is you. You may take on the professional roles such as an attorney, medical doctor, business manager etc. You say I am a doctor or lawyer or truck driver. Yes, you do those roles but is that really you? I would argue that it is not you; rather, it is a role you play in society in order to make money so you can feed yourself. We are trained this way since early childhood. The sole purpose around our education system is to grow up and be something you are really not. We are all a bunch of liars.
When going to our perspective places of work, we all put on a show. We are then watched by HR who is the biggest liars; who make sure we are lying correctly. Don’t say this, don’t do that, don’t be you. Who are you? We do not know because we were never trained to be (add your name). We were trained to be an occupation. We live in a matrix like environment in which we must submit to societal norms or be cast out like a leper ending up in a homeless shelter. Generally your only crime was you were just being yourself, or at least enough of yourself not to care about what society says you should be.
We all need to eat, and while I have met many happy people who enjoy the homeless lifestyle it is not for everyone. I myself was homeless for a short period of time and it did have its moments of freedom. Although the luxuries of life were often missed; missed so much in fact that I decided to join back in with the matrix and learn a gig. I am very fortunate that I have started to grow in my spirituality which has led me to a greater understanding of myself and the conclusions that I have stated above.
I am learning that my life’s purpose is to just be me. I am not a writer, student, counselor, teacher etc. I may do those things, but they are just actions that I do to make money in order to feed myself. I was most truly myself at the time of my birth, untainted by the corruption of our humanity. We are tainted by our educational, monetary and government systems into being ego driven sociopaths only looking out for a ourselves. What is worse we do not even know who we are. Today we have a growing number of people who suffer with depression and anxiety than ever before. We have an alarming amount of people succumb to suicide. We believe we must work 30+years then retire and die. Sadly most never learn who they really are.
Just be. That’s it. Just be. I do not expect anything out of you other than you just being you. Seek within. Jesus said the Kingdom of heaven s within. Within is found our true and highest self. A self that has been clothed with the world we live in. When taking path less traveled you must go through stages of disrobing. We then are left naked with our egos brought down and nailed upon the cross. We have returned to the state of our birth. A sense of freedom comes from taking of the layers of deceit. Removing the worldly clothes from our ego can be frightening as we will eventually view ourselves for who we truly are.
There are many steps a person can take towards understanding who they truly are. They can be found in the religions of the world as well as various occult orders. We may learn in gradually becoming curious of this unknown world within. This by the way is what happened to me. Once a conservative seminary student with aspirations of the pastorate; I realized I was learning many great truths but the organized Christianity I was a part of was not Christian at all. I let go of what I thought, I wanted to just be! I am a perfect spirit and so are you! Just be. Let go. You have found your purpose. In fact you never lost it. Your purpose is to be you. Now live you and don’t look back!
Evangelicals have been separating the sheep from the goats for years. If you do not fall in line with certain biblical principles you will not fit in.
Saving Evangelicalism From Radicals is the mission of Evangelical Deep State. Just about anyone within the protestant traditions can claim Evangelical status. The only real requirement is to believe in Jesus Christ through faith alone. The term Evangelicalism comes from the Greek word for gospel. The word is fitting then to be an umbrella term for diverse Christian populations of similar mind.
Let me state first that Christianity has had many issues; all religions do. The problem Evangelicalism has had for hundreds of years is an “us vs. them” mentality Unlike Roman Catholics in which the Pope is the ultimate authority on scripture, evangelicals take their lead from a variety of chosen leaders which often present different beliefs.
Evangelicals have been separating the sheep from the goats for years. If you do not fall in line with certain biblical principles you will not fit in. I had an argument with an evangelical who believed unless you were baptized in water God could not let you enter heaven. There is only so much you can say in a case like that. I do understand if God truly acted in such a manner than God would not be a God rather a creation of our imagination. Kind of like a biblical Nightmare on Elm Street. Many within the Evangelical community are probably mentally ill. Fear, depression, suicide, living a fake life are just some detriments of the “faith.” Evangelicals act in the same way as modern day Pharisees.
Jesus spoke of them; “They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.” (Matthew 23:4, NIV).
What is the Point of the Deep State?
What is the point of the Evangelical Deep State? Saving evangelicalism From radicals, of course! I grew up in what would be called a classical evangelical community. I went to an evangelical college and seminary in preparation to become a pastor. Through my experiences I came to positions that went in direct opposition to mainstream Evangelicalism. The more I examined the issue it seemed as if mainstream Evangelicalism was the cause for all sorts of divisions largely based on exegesis, tradition and beliefs of key leaders. I came to the same conclusion as Jesus. Saving Evangelicalism from radicals is crucial.
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:36-40, NIV).
I have compiled a short list of divisive positions of most mainstream Evangelicals. Biblical inerrancy, acceptance of the LGBTQ+ as members and ordained leaders, women’s rights, a literal hell, racism, immigration and probably one of the biggest issues as of right now, the Evangelical takeover of politics. There was a reason the founders of the United States believed that the church has no place in the governing of the nation. The various divisive topics mentioned above are an example. We the people are not a church. We are a nation which contains churches who can freely worship as they will. The Evangelical Deep State is very concerned about the mingling of politics and religion
There is Hope
There is hope! A hope in Jesus, and a hope in the people we love. We are all created in the image of God. Evangelicals have been treating God badly for a long time. We the Evangelical Deep State desires to infiltrate the church with knowledge. Our mission is to love, leading a generation of Evangelicals from politics and division to peace and unity. You are not alone. There are thousands of us and growing daily who have left the traditional church out of disdain for their ungodly actions. This humble page is just one spear in a powerful movement to free Evangelicalism from its corrupt actions and rise up passionate followers of Christ without the burdens of doctrine and dogma. In the good fight in saving Evangelicalism from radicals.
